What kind of idiot goes to a restaurant because of the spectacularly good salad dressing? This idiot. And I stand by this decision. Is the food incredibly authentic? No. Is it the best Mexican food in the city, or even in Montrose? Also no. Is it the most affordable of the options, thereby causing you to overlook the other shortcomings? Strike three. BUT - and hear me out here - the food is good and it's consistent, the ambiance is incredibly charming, the okay-ish service is regularly okay-ish so you always know what to expect, and the pepita salad dressing is likely to change your life. An overstatement? Maybe, but don't you want to try it now to see for yourself? Whatever you're ordering, get a side salad. When you're licking your plate, you'll know I was right.

Absolutely wonderful dinner with my beautiful family.  I called in to get on the waitlist and the hostess was very attentive and put my name down.  We arrived at the table she was very welcoming and attentive Edgar was our waiter and he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful.  Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh and tasty.  We are too much and worth the calories

Absolutely one of the better restaurant experiences I've had in a while. The food itself was awesome, as usual, but today the service really made the meal. Our server Gigi was amazingly thorough and attentive. The great service didn't stop there either. Both the manager and bus boy were also on top of keeping my bottomless mimosa glass full. I cannot recommend Joselitos enough. Thank you guys for such a great dining experience!!

Cute  little Mexican restaurant. They also accepted a large group of us which was 15 people. So we made reservations in advance. Wasn't too busy probably because it was Sunday evening. Food was good, not the greatest but good. Our waiter (forgot his name) was excellent! Cadillac Margaritas we're fantastic!  I would give this place another go for sure!

This review is for those haters who might feel the need to complain right now because maybe the service has been slow or maybe their orders were not quite right recently. As someone who works in customer service, I feel the need to support this place. We come here every week, whether for take out or dine in or dine outside. They have truly helped our sanity through this pandemic, as we have two small children who can be very disruptive and demanding. They have always greeted us with a smile and catered to us the best that they could. Before anyone leave a negative review of a place that is making our lives better, know that the current state of the virus is leading to severe staffing shortages EVERYWHERE and now is the time for kindness and understanding. We love this place. My 4yo specifically request this place whenever we are on Honolulu.  There is no other place we would rather go to get two large margaritas and people watch and sit back and relax for a little bit.
